At the Atlanta Humane Society Veterinary Center, we believe pets should have access to affordable, quality care, and we never want to see a pet suffering from heartworm disease. That’s why we’re offering reduced-cost heartworm preventative packages for all of Atlanta’s dogs this Saturday, February 15th.
Please note that the dog requiring heartworm preventative must be leashed and in attendance with you at the clinic. Appointments are highly recommended, but not required. If you do not have an appointment for the clinic, we will do our best to see you in a timely manner between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., but we are expecting a high volume of dogs at this clinic and will prioritize clients with appointments.

At this clinic, we will be providing heartworm packages (including a heartworm test, appointment fee, and heartworm preventative) dependent on the weight of your dog and the monthly supply of heartworm preventative you’d like at the following rates:
-Dogs up to 25 pounds: $35 for 6 months or $58 for 12 months with a rebate
-Dogs from 26-50 pounds: $45 for 6 months or $78 for 12 months with a rebate
-Dogs from 51-100 pounds: $55 for 6 months or $88 for 12 months with a rebate
If your dog tests positive for heartworm disease, we will also be able to provide a reduced-cost heartworm treatment.
-Dogs up to 44 pounds: $300 for treatment
-Dogs from 45-66 pounds: $400 for treatment
-Dogs from 67-100 pounds: $600 for treatment
Our Atlanta Humane Society Veterinarians are trained and practicing protocol and best packages from the American Heartworm Associations.
